Magicsticks

“Tune in to the king of sounds and blues”, is one of the most recognisable producer tags in the culture today, and Magicsticks (born Kareem Olasunkanmi Temitayo) is the genius behind the boards on those perfectly balanced records that carry this tag.

With credits spanning smash hit records from 2020 (DJ Neptune’s ‘Nobody’), Magicstick’s catalogue is one of the most valuable in the industry today. However, his work producing 3 of 4 tracks on Asake’s debut EP (with sound engineering credits on the entire project) paved the way for his producing, mixing and mastering the entirety of Asake’s debut album. These feats have given Magicsticks even greater cultural relevance today.

Prince Omoferi (Mbryo)

Prince Omoferi, more popularly known as Mbryo, is a Grammy-nominated songwriter whose pen has contributed to the creation of Afrobeats smash hits like “Rush”, “Overloading (Overdose)”, “Sability”, Ijo Laba-Laba and more. His versatility has seen him working with the likes of Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, Davido, Magixx, Johnny Drille, Rema, Don Jazzy, Falz, and Bella Shmurda to name but a few.
In 2023, he was voted the Scream Magazine’s Youth Award for Songwriter of the Year and was spotlighted as the first African recipient of Spotify’s RADAR Songwriter for the year 2023. 2024 has seen him build on this momentum as he lent his luminous pen to one of the biggest songs of the year so far in Ayra Starr’s “Commas and Last Heartbreak Song.
