“Tune in to the king of sounds and blues”, is one of the most recognisable producer tags in the culture today, and Magicsticks (born Kareem Olasunkanmi Temitayo) is the genius behind the boards on those perfectly balanced records that carry this tag.
With credits spanning smash hit records from 2020 (DJ Neptune’s ‘Nobody’), Magicstick’s catalogue is one of the most valuable in the industry today. However, his work producing 3 of 4 tracks on Asake’s debut EP (with sound engineering credits on the entire project) paved the way for his producing, mixing and mastering the entirety of Asake’s debut album. These feats have given Magicsticks even greater cultural relevance today.
